FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT RELEASED FOR LOS ANGELES AIRPORT SOUTH AIRFIELD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

(Los Angeles, California – October 27, 2005) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) today released the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the South Airfield Improvement Project at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). All documents, including appendices, will be available for review at www.laxmasterplan.org, and at designated public libraries and other locations.

OFFICIALS CONSULT ON BIRD FLU PREPARATIONS

Media briefing on efforts by federal, state, local and airport officials in planning emergency response to passengers presenting signs and symptoms of a possible communicable disease at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
