PUBLIC VIEWING SITES FOR AIRBUS A380 LANDING AT LAX ANNOUNCED
    (Los Angeles, California – November 27, 2007)  In anticipation of possible lunch-time crowds to view the return of the Airbus A380 super jumbo jet to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) this week, airport officials announced recommended sites on airport property  where the landing may be viewed by the public.

LOS ANGELES AIRPORT OFFICIALS TO PRESENT THANKSGIVING TRAVEL FORECAST, TRAVEL TIPS FROM NEWLY REOPENED ENCOUNTER RESTAURANT AT THEME BUILDING

WHAT:            As the holiday season approaches, officials at Los Angeles World Airports, U.S. Customs and Border Protection ( C&BP ), and the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will conduct a news conference to announce the holiday travel forecast for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) and LA/Palmdale Regional Airport; discuss new developments at LAX and ONT; provide travel information for arriving and departing international passengers; and how to pack and dress appropriately for security screening.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY -- ROADWAY PAVING PROJECT MAY CAUSE DELAYS ENTERING LA/ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Effective October 29 through November 16, LA/Ontario International Airport will undergo a three-week asphalt renovation on Terminal Way. This project will be performed between the hours of 4 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Passengers can expect delays when entering and exiting the terminals. Please allow extra time for arriving at the airport.

CONTRACT AWARDED FOR SOUND INSULATION MODIFICATIONS NEAR LAX
(Los Angeles, California – November 5, 2007)  The Los Angles Board of Airport Commissioners today awarded a contract to AMD Construction Group of the City of Orange for a portion of the Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) Residential Soundproofing Program.   The $515,900 contract covers sound insulation modifications on 50 dwelling units consisting of 35 condominium units at Manitoba West, three condominiums at Manitoba Manor, 11 condominium units at Villas del Rey, and one condominium unit at CrossCreekVillage – all  in Los Angeles City Council District 11.

MANDATORY PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING SCHEDULED FOR POTENTIAL BIDDERS ON LAWA SECURITY TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION PROJECT

TRAFFIC ADVISORY -- UPDATED 5:30 A.M. PACIFIC TIME -- TRAFFIC DETOURS NEAR LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT STILL IN EFFECT

(Los Angeles, California – October 17, 2007) Traffic detours are still in effect at northbound Sepulveda Blvd. at Imperial Highway near the entrance to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The detour is due to a water main break that occurred on Tuesday morning at the intersection of Century and Sepulveda Boulevards. According to Los Angeles Department of Water and Power officials, repairs to the break and street restoration are still expected to be completed about noon today.
