FLYAWAY® BUS STOP RETURNS TO RENOVATED PATSAOURAS BUS PLAZA FOLLOWING END OF CONSTRUCTION; NEW PICK-UP/DROP-OFF FACILITY OPENS
(Los Angeles, California – October 7, 2016) The FlyAway® bus stop at Union Station will return to its original location on the Patsaouras Bus Plaza on October 10.  The return follows the completion of Metro’s major rehabilitation work to the plaza, which began in early July.

LOT POLISH AIRLINES ANNOUNCES LOS ANGELES AS U.S. WEST COAST GATEWAY FOR SERVICE LAUNCH TO WARSAW
LOT’s Dreamliner will fly from LAX on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and operate at the new Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). The schedule enables LOT to ensure the shortest trip from the U.S. West Coast to many destinations in Poland and other countries in the Eastern and Central Europe.

MAYOR GARCETTI ANNOUNCES GRAND OPENING OF NEW LAX FACILITY THAT EXPEDITES PASSAGE BETWEEN AIRPORT TERMINALS
The Terminal 4 Connector is a new piece of the LAX Central Terminal Area that connects the airport’s south side terminals — Terminals 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 — with the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).  Mayor Eric Garcetti joined Councilmember Bob Blumenfield and Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) officials to announce the opening of the facility today.

VIRGIN AUSTRALIA TO LAUNCH SERVICE BETWEEN LOS ANGELES, MELBOURNE IN 2017
(Los Angeles, California – September 20, 2016)  Virgin Australia today announced it will launch service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Melbourne, Australia, on April 4, 2017.
