LOS ANGELES AIRPORT FORECASTS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND TO BE BUSIEST PERIOD THIS YEAR; OFFERS SUMMER TRAVEL TIPS

MEDIA ADVISORY -- ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ONT) TO CONDUCT EMERGENCY EXERCISE
Ontario International Airport (ONT) will conduct a full-scale exercise of its disaster preparedness plan. The purpose of the exercise is to test the effectiveness of ONT's emergency plan as mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration, provide a realistic training scenario for emergency response personnel, and determine the effectiveness of outside agency capabilities in response to an aircraft emergency.
