About 8:55 a.m., the FAA lifted the ground stop at LAX and departing flights have resumed. No arrival flights were diverted during the temporary ground stop at LAX.

Airline flight operations and vehicular traffic are normal. LAX FlyAway bus service operating normally. Passengers should plan ahead if driving to/from LAX this weekend, during the full closure of the I-405 freeway in the Sepulveda Pass north of LAX.
