BILL UPGRADING STATUS OF LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS POLICE APPROVED BY CALIFORNIA STATE ASSEMBLY
SACRAMENTO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/25/2006 -- The California State Assembly today approved a bill sponsored by Assembly Majority Leader Dario Frommer granting additional powers and authority to Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Police. In approving the measure, the Assembly rejected arguments suggesting the upgrading of police powers would create confusion or was unnecessary.

LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS APPOINTS ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT MANAGERS

(Ontario, California – May 24, 2006) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) appointed a new airport manager and assistant airport manager to oversee Ontario International Airport (ONT), effective May 29.

Jess Romo, ONT’s new manager, has over 17 years experience with the City of Los Angeles, eight of which were at LAWA as property manager at Los Angeles International, ONT and Van Nuys Airport. He has extensive experience in lease administration and property management, having worked at the Bureau of Engineering, Department of Water and Power, and General Services.

LAX AIRPORT POLICE “WE RIDE FOR THOSE WHO DIED” POLICE UNITY TOUR 2006
Law Enforcement officers from all over the nation participated in the Police Unity Tour 2006. The tour consisted of over 400 officer’s riding bicycles over 300 miles from Florham NJ to Washington D.C. over a four day period, to honor all fallen officers killed in the line of duty in 2005.

LAWA APPOINTS KARL PAN CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

(Los Angeles, California -- May 9, 2006) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has announced the appointment of Karl Pan as its deputy executive director of finance and chief financial officer.

Pan brings 29 years of domestic and international finance experience in commercial lending, risk management, operating and capital planning and economic resources allocation to the post. He has been the Acting Chief Financial Officer at LAWA since September of 2005. In addition, Pan has served as financial manager of the LAWA Debt and Treasury Management Division since January 2004 where his responsibilities included overseeing debt management, rates and charges and capital programs. He also oversaw LAWA’s grant and passenger facilities charge activities.

LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO BEGIN VALET PARKING
(Los Angeles, California – May 3, 2006) Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) today announced valet parking service in the Central Terminal Area will begin May 10. The valet parking lot will be located across from Terminal 4 on the Lower/Arrivals Level and will serve Terminal 4 (American Airlines and American Eagle), Terminal 5 (Delta, China Southern and Aeromexico), and the more than 35 airlines in the Tom Bradley International Terminal.
