LYDIA H. KENNARD TO LEAVE LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS THIS FALL; PLANS TO RETURN TO PRIVATE SECTOR AFTER NEARLY A DECADE OF PUBLIC SERVICE

BOARD OF AIRPORT COMMISSIONERS EXTENDS PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
(Los Angeles, California -- August 11, 2003) The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners today unanimously approved (5-0) an extension of the public review and comment period for the Supplement to the Draft Environmental Impact Study/Environmental Impact Report for the LAX Master Plan for a total of 120 days and the scheduling of three additional public hearings.

COUNTRY STARS PERFORM FREE CONCERT IN CELEBRATION OF LAX,S 75TH ANNIVERSARY

TWO CONTRACTS AWARDED FOR RESIDENTIAL SOUNDPROOFING IN SOUTH LOS ANGELES COUNCIL DISTRICT 8
(Los Angeles, California – July 21, 2003) The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners today awarded AMD Construction Group, Inc of Orange, Calif., two contracts for residential soundproofing near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
